Carey operates entirely upon the faithful financial partnership of our donors.

Here are the ways in which your donations support the work of Carey:

We Sponsor our Pastor/Students

Every year, by the grace of God we train more than 600 pastors and leaders around the world, equipping them to serve and lead churches in urban centers, provincial villages and jungle communities, often taking the message of the gospel where it was not formerly known.

None of the pastors we train are required to contribute to the cost of their training. Carey subsidizes transportation to and from our training centers (in some situations), in addition to providing accommodation, food, books, resources.

Average cost per pastor, per one-week training session: $35

We Support Training Centers

Carey currently supports training centers in Philippines*, India*, Mongolia, Far East*, Myanmar, Egypt, Lebanon, Madagascar, and Cuba.

Average support provided to Training Centers: $1,000/month or $12,000/year

We Conduct Pastors’ Conferences

In addition to our training centers Carey also hosts Pastors’ Conferences providing needed encouragement, powerful Biblical teaching and a variety of resources for more than 100 church leaders from all across a region. As with Carey training sessions, pastors are not charged to attend, are provided free accommodation, meals, and resources, and may be assisted with transportation costs.

Average cost for a Pastors' Conference: $5,000

We Assist in Church Planting - Multiply: Plant & Train

Some of the pastors that we train serve in established churches while others follow the call of God to plant new churches. As we are able Carey provides approved Church Planters with grants and support as they begin their new ministries. Our Multiply: Plant & Train assistance can provide a grant for one planter and training sponsorship for two additional men preparing for the pastorate.

Average level of sponsorship: $175 / month

Our Carey Team Members Need Support

While we rely on our committed volunteers, Carey also has a small core team of full-time staff. Each of our team members raise their own financial support as missionaries with Carey. We Rely on Translators

Carey currently has nearly 20 training centers around the world. As we equip indigenous leaders with the transforming Word of God we rely on quality translators to work alongside of our lecture team. These are gifted and godly men and women who share our passion for the life-changing truth that is being communicated.

Average annual support to Translators: $10,000

We Publish & Distribute Biblical Resources

We produce books and video courses to resource pastors and leaders in areas of the world where they do not have access to quality Christian materials in their own language. Currently we have resources translated into Spanish, Arabic, and Mandarin. Owning the copyright to books enables Carey to translate, print and distribute books according to the needs of our students.

Donation Policy:

Spending of funds is confined to the programs of the charity. Each gift designated toward a program approved by the board of directors will be used as designated. When any given need has been met, or where projects cannot be reasonably carried out, the donor agrees that designated gifts may be used where needed most.
