Dr. Tim Beavis has more than 20 years of Pastoral experience as a Church Planter and Pastor. He holds degrees from:

• Before taking on the role as President, he served as Carey’s Vice President of International Operations for nearly 7 years coordinating all our global training centers and our team of lecturers. He teaches and preaches extensively across all our ministry fields.

• Alongside his work Carey he has served as a ministry leadership coach for Pastors and Church Planters and has sat on the boards of several ministry organizations.

Matt Harman served the local church vocationally for almost 15 years, including his latest role as the Lead Pastor of Montrose Bible Church in Northeast Pennsylvania. He holds degrees from:

•       B.S. in Business (Management & Marketing) - Pennsylvania State University

• In addition to his work at Carey International Pastoral Training, Matt recently founded ‘Faithful Exposition,’ a ministry that seeks to proclaim God’s Word through radio broadcasts and preaching publications.

Dr. Jim Poppell is a Board Member of CIUT having served over 10 years as lead pastor in a local church. Jim is currently engaged in discipling, as well as completing his doctoral studies focusing on Spiritual Reformation in the Lord’s Prayer. He holds degrees from:

Jim leadership background includes serving as Florida’s Lottery Secretary, which provided educational opportunity for Floridian residents. Chief of Staff at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. Executive Vice President of Human Resources at NextEra Energy, Inc., held several leadership positions at Florida Power & Light Company and was a Litigator with Foley & Lardner LLP.

Christina is the Office Manager and Registrar for Carey International University of Theology.
